 There is something safe about a screen and a key board. Nobody is around and it is just you and your thoughs. It has been a very tough year for the cafe/wine bar and gallery. I have become all those so I can stay a float. Interesting it is everything I love... A good glass of wine, great music playing. I can order food if I want. My menu is perfect for an easy not heavy night out. There our couches, tables, bar tables basically any type of seating you would want. I even built a deck on back since i last wrote. It seems that every time we get going something BEYOND MY CONTROL happens. Building sold major flood robbery Then a robbery spree around all of Temple so people really didn't want to get out. And then there where the basics issues of owning your own business. This is my 4th restraunt and it has been the hardest. However I love it the most. I have combined all my passions into one place. Then I have had to over come the fact that I have only been in the area 5 years. Temple is about 50,000 in the day and 20,000 at night. my building is the oldest 1894 I rent the bottom because of the market I couldnt buy it. That was hard, I had thought that I would have been able to since I have had the wine bar/cafe for 2 years. But it was the wrong 2 years. Anyway I could go on and on. But right now I am trying to take the emotion out and see if I can really make it Good HONEST help has been a nightmare Here is the inside of Historic Cotton Exchange. It change a lot.
